JOB SUMMARY:
The clinic manager is responsible for the day-to-day managerial and operational decisions of the clinic, serving as point of contact for providers and clinic staff, and serving as in-house leadership in the clinic. Salary is based on experience.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service
- Computer literacy
- Previous medical management experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clinic Operations and Management
- Manage clinic workflow process
- Ensure short and long-term work projects and objectives are met
- Understanding of employees jobs for both front and back clinic
- Provide clinical and/or clerical coverage as needed to keep flow of clinic running smoothly
- Coordinate schedules with staff and lunch coverage
- Serve as primary contact, internally and externally, for IT issues; address and resolve issues as they arise
- Lead department huddle a minimum of 1 time per week
- Organize and send invoices to administration for processing
- Schedule and communicate drug representative visits
- Manage clinic budget including ordering clerical supplies
- Manage cleaning contracts and services associated with the clinic
- Ensure proper signage and documentation are posting in office
Patient Management
- Evaluate patient concerns, complaints, and compliments received by the clinic; take action when required
- Manage patient termination process ensuring proper documentation
- Relay medical information including medical treatment, lab values and medication information
- Create lab and X-ray orders; schedule imaging appointments for patients
- Ensure authorization for visits, labs, and imaging are complete; communicate with insurance companies when necessary
- Manage scheduling conflicts and questions between patients, providers and staff
Staff Management
- Oversee the hiring, development, training and evaluation of clerical and clinical staff
- Cultivate a cohesive and trusting team environment amongst all clinic employee
- Address concerns of staff and coach staff on work and/or behavior improvement
- Manage and correct employee hours ensuring accuracy, approve overtime when required
- Manage staff reviews annually
- Arrange coverage for employee PTO requests, approve or deny as required
- Conduct check-in meetings regularly with staff
- Motivate and encourage staff to demonstrate professional standards set forth by the company
Administration Liaison
- Evaluate and communicate the effectiveness of clinic staff and processes, propose solutions when needed
- Serve as liaison between administration and staff, deliver clear communication from administration to staff and providers
- Develop proposals to improve clinic efficiency
- Elevate employee and patient concerns to administration if not resolved at the clinic level
- Participate in monthly administrative/manager meetings

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
