PALS, Inc. is an adult Day Program that provides professional services to individuals with intellectual or behavioral disabilities. With offices in Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles counties, we are committed to assisting individuals in achieving their goals and needs.
We are actively seeking a Program Administrator to manage our El Monte site’s front office operations. The ideal candidate should be proficient in both written and verbal communication, have computer skills such as Microsoft Word and Excel, and have worked with or be willing to be trained in electronic database and records management systems such as BambooHR. The potential employee may be assigned to job-related tasks that are not specified in the job description.
This is an entry-level position for those who want to gain managerial experience in social services.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Two years of experience in Administration
- One year of experience in Developmental Disabilities, Mental Health or a related field is desired.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain communication with staff and outside providers on a daily basis.
- Collect and organize workflow documentation submitted by staff and management.
- Manage timekeeping and payroll functions.
- Assist management with program funds and inventory.
- Collect, record, and report staff attendance and time off.
- Maintain records of staff injury reports, reimbursements, and disciplinary actions request.
- Report and maintain records of program participants attendance and Special Incident Reports.
- Secure documentation in staff and participants files.
- Maintain records of new hires, including New Hire Packets and associated documents.
- Manage multiple phone lines and greeting guests to the office.
Required:
- Must pass Background Check
- Must pass TB Clearance, Drug, and Physical Test
- Must complete CPI/CPR training within 30 days of hire (Provided by PALS)
