What are the responsibilities and job description for the Math Teacher or Tutor - High School position at PALS Learning Center - Edison & South Plainfield?
Learning Center in Edison & South Plainfield is seeking a Math tutor or Teacher to teach Math from Grade 5 to Grade 10. This is a long-term part-time position to work evening & weekend that provides a great opportunity to grow with a leading institution. The ideal candidate will:
- have strong background tutoring in Math (Specifically - Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry)
- should be compassionate and caring to children in Grade 5 to Grade 10
- Must be available to work 5-8 PM on weekdays
- be engaging with children and must be able to teach concepts
- Teaching in-school experience is a plus.
- comfortable working with students in small groups
- be creative and with a genuine interest in helping kids succeed.
- be polite, positive, and encouraging with all students.
