PALS, Inc. provides professional services for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. With offices in Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles counties, we are committed to assisting individuals in achieving their goals and needs.
We are actively looking for someone to assist PALS program participants in the areas where assistance is needed. This depends purely on the requirements of each individual. The ideal candidate should be patient and, whenever possible, let the participants perform the work independently. The support provided covers several dimensions of human functioning including daily living skills, self-care, community mobility, communication, soft skills, games & recreation, and work skills. The candidate should be able to form interactions and build confidence with the participants.

Experience and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum one year of previous educational or work-related experience
- Demonstrate strength of character
- Ensure that participants receive attentive care and assistance throughout the workday
- Utilize public transportation, walk, or any other means to navigate activities in the community
- Complete daily individual information, including person-centered learning logs and progress charts, and report it to the PALS program management team in a timely way
- Participate in PALS monthly staff trainings, as well as other trainings that may be recurring or arranged online, upon request
- Reliable transportation

- Valid Drivers License and Auto Insurance
- Must pass background check
- TB Clearance Test
