Position : Section Chief for Gastroenterology
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment.
Basic Requirements :
- United States Citizenship.
- Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree from an approved school.
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery.
- Completed residency training in an accredited core specialty training program.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Preferred Experience :
Board certified Gastroenterology physician with advanced clinical experience and demonstrated administrative and leadership skills.
