Responsibilities
This position is vital to the operation of the Nursing Department. In coordination with the Chief Nursing Officer, maintains department files, correspondence, policy and procedure manuals, and confidential information of patients and staff. Completes schedules and coordinates staffing in a very fast-paced environment, ensuring staffing needs are met in a timely manner. Serves as a liaison between departments outside the scope of Nursing Services. This is a busy role that requires excellent organizational, communication, and administrative skills to support the department’s operational needs. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
Education and Training: High School diploma or equivalent. Graduated from or attended a business college or secretarial school.
Experience: No experience required; however, 1-2 years of experience in healthcare and/or office practice is preferred.
