Job Responsibilities
As a PCT, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and support services, including:
- Vital sign checks and reporting abnormalities.
- Accompanying patients to appointments and procedures.
- Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
- Assisting with patient transfers and mobilization.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit.
