We are seeking Machine Operators for Engine Lathe Operations and Cylindrical Grinding at our Atlanta location, with opportunities available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate lathes, grinders, and plasma equipment to achieve production goals in line with set specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and promptly notify supervisors of any malfunctions.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Assist with other tasks as directed by the lead or supervisor.
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Strong mechanical knowledge with solid math skills.
- Clear and effective communication abilities.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently.
- Dependable with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain professionalism when interacting with coworkers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with manual lathes and grinders.
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and using measuring/inspection tools.
- Willingness to work on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
