Duties

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, incidents, and any changes in behavior or health status.
- Encourage clients to engage in recreational activities that promote physical and emotional well-being.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the quality of life for individuals in your care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and patient monitoring practices.
- Familiarity with social work principles as they relate to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Ability to prepare meals that meet dietary needs while considering individual preferences.
- Experience administering medications safely and effectively is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- A background in nursing or related healthcare fields is advantageous but not required.
