Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee our office operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, including corporate and governmental accounting practices, and will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and maintaining compliance with GAAP standards. This role requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the designers

Responsibilities

  • Manage weekly office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all administrative processes.
  • Oversee accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Maintain the general ledger accounting system, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Implement and manage financial software solutions to streamline accounting processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with governmental accounting regulations as applicable.
  • Provide training and support to staff on financial procedures and software usage.

Experience

  • Proven experience in corporate accounting or technical accounting roles is preferred.
  • Experience with accounts receivable management and general ledger accounting is essential.
  • Proficiency in payroll and tax laws.
  • Experience paying multiple states sales tax - monthly or quarterly.
  • Familiarity with governmental accounting standards is a plus.
  • Experience using Quick Books on line software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed.

This Office Manager position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to to work part time with a flexible schedule.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
