Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor / Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality counseling services to individuals, couples and family therapy, maintain documentation using Simple Practice electronic health records, coordinate care with referral source, primary care providers, and family members as needed. Telehealth can also be provided. Candidate should be adept at dealing with various mental health issues, including PTSD, addiction, and other emotional challenges. Candidate should also feel comfortable working with diverse patient populations including children, adults, and geriatric individuals. Someone who is already credentialed with major insurance carriers is a plus. An Associate Licensed candidate requiring supervision hours may also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide counseling sessions to clients, various mental health issues, including PTSD, addiction, and other emotional challenges.
- Utilize ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation of patient diagnoses and treatment progress.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in clinical counseling.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Associate Licensed candidates requiring supervision hours considered.
- Valid state licensure as a Professional Counselor/Therapist or Clinical Social Worker.
- Strong understanding of ICD-9 coding for mental health diagnoses.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience providing mental health services is a plus.
