Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all pets in your care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with pet owners
- Monitor pets for any health issues or abnormalities and report to the appropriate staff
Skills
Must have 2 years of professional grooming experience
-Must be comfortable grooming dogs of all breeds and sizes
-Must be detail oriented
-Must have excellent customer service skills, both in person and over the phone
-Must have strong organization, time management, and multitasking skills
-Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently as needed
-Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
-Ability to meet the physical demands of the role including standing for an extended period of time as well as lifting up to 50lbs.
-Must be upbeat and able to work as part of a team
-Must be reliable and have reliable transportation
