Duties
- Bathe and groom pets according to their specific needs and breed standards.
- Safely restrain animals during grooming sessions to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Brush, comb, and dry pets after bathing, paying special attention to their coat condition.
- Inspect pets for any skin issues or abnormalities and report findings to the appropriate staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area and grooming tools to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs.
- Assist in handling pets during appointments, ensuring they are calm and comfortable throughout the process.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or skills in one or more of the following areas:
- Animal care
- Animal restraint
- Animal handling
- Pet care
- Pet sitting
- Veterinary assistant or technician experience
- Dog training
- Pet grooming
