Weekend Pet Groomer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. Currently we are only looking to fill a part-time weekend only position. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing high-quality grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering exceptional grooming experiences for both pets and their owners.

Duties

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs AND CATS!
• Assess the condition of each pet's coat and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition.
• Communicate with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs, behavior, and any health concerns observed during grooming sessions.
• Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive environment for both pets and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pet grooming REQUIRED
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger animals or moving equipment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members.
• A compassionate attitude towards animals and a commitment to their welfare.
• Certification in pet grooming or related training is advantageous but not mandatory.
