What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shift Leader position at Pampered Pets Veterinary Clinic and Spa?
Pampered Pets Veterinary Clinic and Spa is looking for a Shift Lead to work with our lodging staff at our Edmond, OK location.
Requirements:
- Works with Lodging Supervisor and lodging staff.
- Ensure cages, runs, suites, daycare and overall clinic is cleaned daily with daily checklists.
- Monitor behavior and/or medical issues with pets and notify medical team and Lodging Manager when issues arise. Complete the Incident/Accident Report forms as applicable.
- Assist medical team when samples of urine or feces are needed.
- Responsible for weighing and logging pets’ weight upon arrival and during stay as needed.
- Ensure team members understand their duties and delegated task and provide proper feedback, when needed, to ensure productivity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- One (1) year previous veterinary industry/boarding/lodging experience preferred.
- Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week
