What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst position at PamTen?
Our client is seeking a Data Analyst for a long term contract in Erie PA. This is an onsite role.
- 8 years of working experience as a Data Analyst. Business Analysis experience would be an advantage.
- Expertise in understanding and converting Business requirements into data needs and ability to write mapping documents and rules.
- Experience in Transformation projects and understanding of legacy data vs current needs by requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate the information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of and experience business data analysis, data mapping, query languages (SQL, NOSQL), XML, JSON is required. Oracle, Snowflake, MarkLogic experience would be advantage.
- Experience of working on Cloud platform (AWS) would be a plus.
- Ability to independently perform data analysis with hands-on writing SQL queries .
- Experience in Agile methodology and proficiency in using ADO / Jira Tools.
- Knowledge in technologies like as Python, Spark, is desirable.
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
- Possess good communication skills, should be able to independently interact with stakeholders (Business, Tech Leads, PMs, QA Leads), should work independently with minimum guidance.
