What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Benefits Advisor position at Pan-American Life?
Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG) is looking for a Health Benefits Advisor to provide customer care, sales support and promote health education to customers. This position is on-site in New Jersey. Ideal candidates to be located near our office locations of Jersey City or Perth Amboy, NJ.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Customer Service :
- Answering incoming customer calls regarding billing issues, general health insurance and other benefits related questions.
- Accurately update customer information in the customer service database during and after each call.
- Conducting outbound welcoming and courtesy calls to HolaDoctor members
- Assisting members sign-up and use of their member portal.
- Assisting or encouraging members to participate in health fairs, wellness programs and educational sessions.
- Assisting members with policy issues, Marketplace document requirements and payments
- Must be available to work in a flexible schedule including weekends as needed
