Job Description:
General Cleaning Tasks

1. Sweeping, Mopping, and Vacuuming Floors:
   • Remove dirt, dust, and debris from floors using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques.
   • Mop hard surfaces and vacuum carpets and rugs.
2. Dusting and Polishing:
   • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
   • Clean and polish windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
3. Trash Removal:
   • Empty wastebaskets and recycling bins.
   • Dispose of waste in designated areas and replace liners.
4. Restroom Maintenance:
   • Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, urinals, and other restroom fixtures.
   • Restock restroom supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
5. Surface Cleaning:
   • Wipe down and disinfect surfaces, including desks, countertops, and kitchen areas.
   • Clean walls and partitions.

1. Deep Cleaning:
   • Perform thorough cleaning of specific areas or items, such as carpets, upholstery, and drapery, using specialized equipment and methods.
2. Window Washing:
   • Clean interior and exterior windows, including frames and sills.
3. Floor Care:
   • Strip, wax, and buff floors as needed.
   • Maintain floor surfaces by applying sealants and using floor care machines.

1. Safety Compliance:
   • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
   • Use and store cleaning chemicals properly to avoid accidents.

1. Supply Management:
   • Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
   • Order new supplies as needed.
2. Reporting:
   • Report any damages, defects, or required repairs to supervisors.
   • Keep records of cleaning activities and inventory levels.

1. Event Preparation and Cleanup:
   • Set up and take down furniture and equipment for events or meetings.
   • Clean up after events.
2. Customer Service:
   • Interact with clients, tenants, or employees to address cleaning needs and concerns.
3. Outdoor Cleaning:
   • Maintain the cleanliness of outdoor areas, such as sidewalks, parking lots, and entrances.
   • Remove litter, leaves, as necessary.

The duties of a cleaner are essential to the upkeep of any units and facilities, ensuring a hygienic and pleasant environment for all occupants.

Hourly Rate: $20
Schedule (Hours and Days): Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, or Tuesday - Saturday 8:00am - 4:30pm
