Position Overview:
As part of the Strategic Initiatives & Impact department, the Strategic Initiatives Manager plays a critical role in driving the development, execution, and oversight of key projects and initiatives that align with the PAN Foundation’s long-term strategic goals. This position is responsible for managing cross-functional projects, shaping strategic plans, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance the organization’s effectiveness and impact. This dynamic position requires a versatile professional with broad skills in project management, process improvement, change management, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments and ambiguity, adapts quickly, and can seamlessly shift between high-level strategic work and hands-on execution.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine strategic initiatives that align with organizational goals.
- Translate high-level strategies into actionable projects with clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Monitor and assess the progress of strategic initiatives, providing regular updates and recommendations to leadership.
- Lead and support cross-functional projects and workshops that enhance organizational efficiency, performance, and innovation.
- Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of complex projects across departments.
- Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Foster collaboration and communication across teams to drive alignment and accountability.
- Take ownership of ad-hoc initiatives and projects as assigned by executive leadership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with national, state and community level partners, industry leaders, and key external stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at public events, forums, and meetings to promote initiatives and gather insights.
- Engage with internal and external audiences to ensure stakeholder needs and feedback are integrated into project planning and decision-making.
- Develop and manage partnerships that enhance the organization’s reputation and strategic reach.
- Engage with external stakeholders to support organizational initiatives including logistical, financial, and other support.
- Contribute to the development of organizational KPIs and track progress against Foundation objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and competitive insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Serve as a liaison between departments, ensuring alignment and effective communication across teams.
- Support change management initiatives by developing communication plans, training materials, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Lead and support cross-functional projects that enhance organizational efficiency, performance, and innovation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance workflows and productivity.
- Identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and impact through research, data analysis, and stakeholder feedback.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Affairs, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred.)
- 5 years of experience in project management, strategy, development, or community and stakeholder relations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in fast paced environment with a track record of successfully managing large-scale projects and initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and drive initiatives from concept to completion.
