Summary
As a Route Sales Representative at Pan-O-Gold Baking, you will be an essential part of our sales team, responsible for delivering our fresh bread products to customers across the region. This role is vital in upholding our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. This job will require overnight travel at times.
Responsibilities
- Deliver fresh bread products to assigned routes efficiently and safely.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage inventory levels on your route, ensuring products are stocked appropriately.
- Upsell additional products during deliveries to maximize sales opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, sales, and customer interactions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while driving and handling products.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or route driving, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on relationship building.
- Ability to upsell products effectively during customer interactions.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage routes and inventory efficiently.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as required for product delivery.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
