Summary
We are looking for a Route Sales Representative to join our team at Pan-O-Gold Baking. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and delivering our delicious bread products to customers. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for quality and service.
Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle to deliver products to assigned accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance sales opportunities.
- Upsell additional products during deliveries to maximize revenue.
- Ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory management on your route.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
Requirements
- Valid Drivers license required. Class B. Clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy products as required during deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Prior experience in route driving or delivery preferred but not mandatory
Details of position
- This position involves ordering, delivering and merchandising our full line of bakery products to to grocery stores, schools and restaurant accounts.
- Typical work schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday, Saturday and Sundays off. Early morning start time. Day is completed when all customers are serviced for that day. 8 to 12 hours shifts depending on the day.
- NO CDL required. Applicant must be able to obtain a DOT medical card and pass a Pre-employment drug screen.
- Paid training with a weekly guarantee of $935.00. When trained and running route independently, paid base and commission. $66,000 to $72,000 a year. Great benefits, including health, dental, vision insurance. 401 K, Profit sharing and vacation time.
