Job Description
As a leading full-mechanical design-build contractor, Pan-Pacific Mechanical specializes in prominent projects throughout the country. The company is currently seeking a skilled Site Safety Coordinator to oversee safety initiatives at jobsites across the Sacramento/Northern California area.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the Safety Director to provide leadership and guidance on all aspects of company safety. This includes identifying potential hazards, developing and implementing safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Safety Director to develop and implement site-specific safety plans
- Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of incidents and near misses
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of construction safety experience or a safety degree
- OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certification required
- Self-driven, reliable, and able to perform tasks independently
- Desirable certifications include OSHA 500, STS-C, and CHST
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment
