What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Engineering (Medical Device) position at Panacea Direct Inc?
Required skills for this role:
- PhD in mechanical engineering or mechatronics or closely related fields (preferably with research background in the field of medical device).
- Outstanding academic background with a demonstrated record for high-impact research is required.
- A minimum of 8 years hands on product development experience (mechanical-machine design) is required. Experience in medical robotics is highly desired.
- Programming skills and experience using analytical and simulation tools including:
- MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape, SolidWorks CAD modeling, SolidWorks SIM, and SolidWorks Motion Analysis, CETOL,
- FEA analysis (e.g., ANSYS), Tolerance, and Statistical analysis tools,
- LabVIEW, experience with sensors and DAQ systems.
- Eager to learn new tools and techniques and train others.
- Experience with motion control, and applied control theories are highly desired.
- Strong communication and presentation skills required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
