Panacea is looking for an intern interested in exploring the principles of New Jersey’s Medicaid and Charity Care Programs and assist management with tasks to implement these principles in relation to how it affects Hospital Finance. The student filling this position will handle a wide range of important duties. This intern will be expected to work part-time, up to 25 hours per week at the East Windsor NJ location.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities :

• Assist the Medicaid Eligibility team with follow-up calls and letters as well as data entry
• Assist uninsured individuals to obtain insurance coverage through Medicaid or Charity Care programs
• Assist Medicaid team in completing forms and putting together Medicaid applications to submit for approval to the local Board of Social Services
• Assist Medicaid team with running eligibility checks for Medicaid approved cases
