Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting patient care by assisting pharmacists in medication administration, managing pharmacy operations, and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services. This position is essential in providing high-quality patient service within a hospital or acute care setting.
Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
- Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns related to medications.
- Maintain accurate medication records and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Perform inventory management tasks, including ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceuticals.
- Conduct routine checks on medication storage areas to ensure proper organization and safety.
- Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards
Requirements
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Certified pharmacy technician (Cpht) certification/ Trainee License.
- Previous experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and teamwork.
