Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that our products meet the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Identify defects and deviations from quality standards and collaborate with the production team to address these issues.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and other quality control activities.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
- Conduct audits and inspections of production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience with calipers and micrometers
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, specifications, and blueprints.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic familiarity with quality control tools and techniques.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new quality control methods and technologies.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and data analysis.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in quality control or a related field.
- Technical or vocational training in quality control or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations.
Physical Demands:
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and other production-related conditions.
