ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT - INSTRUCTIONAL SERVICES

The Board of Trustees of the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District invites well qualified administrative candidates to apply for an opening in the position of Assistant Superintendent, Instructional Services. The Board is seeking an Assistant Superintendent who plans, organizes, directs, and integrates a complex system of teaching and learning including the organizational alignment of curriculum, instruction and support programs related to student achievement and sustainable results. Provides leadership, accountability, and vision for the District’s academic services and the performance of all schools.  Directs academic management of schools, as well as directs and supervises all Instructional Services departments including, Assessment, Curriculum and Technology; Consolidated Programs; Extended Learning; Professional Development; and Visual and Performing Arts. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Valid California Teaching Credential Valid California Administrative Services Credential Master's degree from an accredited university with major coursework in education or related field. Doctorate in Educaton is desired and may substitute for some experience. 10 years of experience in education, 5 of which are in administration. School site-based administration preferred.

Salary : $172,692 - $209,353
