Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Machine Helper moves work-in-process and finished goods
- Packages finished goods as required
- Labels loads
- Assists the Machine Operator as required during the run.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to learn the basic skills of the job.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must be able to work overtime and on occasions Saturday and/or Sunday.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must show up for work as scheduled.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and physical.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules.
- Ability to read operating and maintenance instructions.
- Must have basic math skills
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Also have the ability to deal with minor problems as they occur.
- Must be able to safely work around moving parts on equipment.
