Responsibilities
What You'll Get to Do:
- Perform welding trials onsite at the customer or Ohio office
- Attend internal meetings and partner with our Sales Manager to meet with clients and partners to ensure their demand is met.
- Ability to quickly learn and develop a solid understanding of all Panasonic welding products and arc welding to ensure full understanding in the field
- Provide service such as repair, production support and welding improvement at customers their facility, system integrator or office in OH.
- Provide training to customer or integrator about Panasonic welding products including operation, maintenance, and welding.
- Complete documentation: project form such as service report, investigation report and internal reporting document in timely manner
- Carries out complex technical assignments to install, troubleshoot, modify, and repair our core products and solutions at customer sites, with minimal assistance or supervision.
- Effective and efficient troubleshooting, while working in potentially high-pressure circumstances, in achieving 100 percent problem resolution of repair activity with 24 hours of arrival at customer site.
- Capability in effective, timely communication with internal departments: Technical Support, PMO, Sales, Product Teams, Spare Parts, Engineering, Order Processing, Accounting
What You'll Bring:
- B.S. Degree in the following areas: Engineering, Welding or similar required
- CAD software operation skill would be preferred; Solid works or 3D-inventor
- Use of MS Office products to display and convey charts, and root-cause analysis data
- Minimum 5 Years of Experience in manufacturing industry area related to welding industry
- Lifting up to 50 pounds, using safe lifting techniques
- Drives change, making suggestions striving for continuous-improvement
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively and professionally with customers, team in internally and externally, are required and essential to success in this position, and in Panasonic Connect activities, in general.
- Capability in effective, timely communication with internal departments: Technical Support, PMO, Sales, Product Teams, Spare Parts, Engineering, Order Processing, Accounting
- Proficient in 3D drawings and execution of modifications in Solid Works or 3D inventor.
- Ability to work in manufacturing factory production environments, following safety procedures, standing on concrete for long period of time, ability to kneel and squat to repair machinery.
- Solve an issue with flexibility and customer first mindset.
- Ability to define colors; green, red, blue, black and yellow. These colors are for identifying electric wiring.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, safely using proper lifting techniques, standing for long periods on factory floors, and maneuvering in production environments and confined spaces to execute technical activities.
