Key Responsibilities
The Avionics Technical Specialist will be responsible for:
- Providing on-site technical support for IFE GCS products, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Working closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve system issues and improve overall performance.
- Developing and maintaining IFE GCS system performance reporting criteria for stakeholders.
- Interfacing with contracted MRO staff, Product Safety Officer, and QA personnel on matters concerning air safety.
- Representing Panasonic's Maintenance and Support organization to customers.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Demonstrated experience in aircraft avionics, possibly with satellite communications and network troubleshooting.
- A solid understanding of engineering applications for technical communications and training purposes.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of electronic and troubleshooting principles, acquired through commercial aviation, military experience, or technical school education combined with minimum 8 years of related industry experience.
- Ability to work in high-stress environments and make decisions with moderate to diverse scope.
- Familiarity with global civil aviation regulations and requirements, such as EASA and FAA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to convey complex technical information effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
