What You'll Get To Do :

As a Front-End Mobile Architect, you will lead the strategic design, development, and implementation of our IoT mobile applications, playing a critical role in redefining the future of Panasonic Connected Home experience. You will be a vital member of our Platform Engineering and Advanced Solutions Group that is at the forefront of innovation, within the Research and Developer Group in North America. You will work closely with the Platform Team and the Functional Technology Center in Japan, and other cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX / UI designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders, to deliver high-performance, user-centric solutions that align with our business goals.

Our Technologies

Modern versions of Flutter and Dart

Dart & Flutter ecosystem technologies like Bloc, Provider, RxDart, and Floor

Core networking technologies including gRPC, Protobuf, WebSockets

Github Actions, Docker, Fastlane for CI and CD pipelines

Other platform technologies include Split, Grafana LGTM

Responsibilities :

Define and implement the architecture for mobile applications, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and seamless integration with IoT devices .

Evaluate and integrate third-party plugins, tools, and services to enhance application functionality and optimize the user experience

Provide technical leadership to mobile development teams, enforcing best practices in coding, testing, and deployment

Lead code reviews ensuring the delivery of high-quality code.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, align on design decisions, and deliver integrated end-to-end solutions

Mentor and support developers in our Japan teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing

Design, Build, and Implement cloud infrastructure solutions

Design and implement Mobile application cloud solutions that are scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-effective with open-source, Software-as-a-Service, and customer software solutions to support Panasonic’s IoT digital Platform.

Collaborate with Panasonic Business Development groups to implement modern mobile architecture solutions

Lead the training and education Automate all routine operations to minimize the operational staff, improve platform availability, and speed development

Architectural Leadership and Technical Oversight

Define and implement the architecture for mobile applications using Ionic and Angular, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

Evaluate and integrate third-party plugins, tools, and services to enhance application functionality.

Provide technical direction to mobile development teams, enforcing best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

Lead code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Educate Panasonic Mobile Engineers

• Contribute to ongoing Dojo training activities to continue the education of Panasonic’s engineers. This will include in-class lectures, hands-on laboratories, supporting hack-a-thon’s, and producing technical documentations that are useful and understandable to engineers.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring :

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

7 years of professional experience in mobile application development, with a proven track records of success.

Candidate needs to be located in the western region of USA.

Qualifications :

Extensive hands-on experience with modern front-end mobile development frameworks (e.g., Flutter, Angular, React Native)

Strong knowledge of mobile UI / UX principles and the ability to design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces

Proficiency in integrating RESTful APIs and working with backend systems

Solid understanding of mobile app lifecycle management, security best practices, and app store deployment processes

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills

Preferred Skills

Experience with IoT device integration and communication protocols

Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS,Firebase) and CI / CD pipelines

Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies

The wage range of $210,000 - $270,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
