The System Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of complex systems and solutions. This includes defining system requirements, creating architectural designs, and ensuring the integrity and functionality of the system throughout its lifecycle, designing, configuration, testing, implementing, deployment and maintaining Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Responsible for the design, performance, security, and scalability of systems, for successful IT projects.

Position Summary :
The System Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of complex systems and solutions. This includes defining system requirements, creating architectural designs, and ensuring the integrity and functionality of the system throughout its lifecycle, designing, configuration, testing, implementing, deployment and maintaining Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Aligning Technology strategy with business goals has become paramount, and a System Architect plays a pivotal role in shaping an organization's technology infrastructure and ensuring that it meets the business's current and future needs. Responsible for the design, performance, security, and scalability of systems, making their role essential for successful IT projects and overall business success.
Essential Duties :
- Develop and maintain high-level and low-level architectural software and hardware designs for complex systems, ensuring they align with organizational goals and requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts and end-users, to gather and analyze system requirements. Translate these requirements into architectural solutions.
- Perform and communicate planning, development, peer review, and testing solutions for MES modules creation and modification.
- Execute development and implementation of new capabilities across the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) based on requirements, specifications, and developed software solutions to meet business requirements (including hardware and software scope). Ensure they are efficient, reliable, and scalable.
- Participate in MES-related projects, including new system implementations, upgrades, and process changes. Co-work with vendors and external partners as required.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies and tools to ensure the selection of the most suitable technology stack for system development.
- Design systems that can scale to meet growing demands and ensure optimal performance under various load conditions.
- Implement security measures and best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure system security compliance.
- Create comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, system configurations, and best practices to guide development teams and support ongoing maintenance.
- Establish quality standards and conduct architectural reviews to ensure that systems meet design specifications and adhere to best practices.
- Provide expert-level support for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to system architecture.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations to existing systems. Analyzes and documents detailed specifications of current digital infrastructure used within the company
- Works with vendors to define optimal infrastructure architecture and hardware / networking requirements
- Applies technical knowledge to develop clear and standard work instructions
- Documents configuration changes with associated test cases and performs functional validation.
- Performs other duties as assigned
