What You'll Do:

We are seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, compliance, and risk management. This role will provide exposure to real-world security challenges, offering opportunities to develop technical and analytical skills while contributing to key security initiatives.

Security Issue & Application Issue Tracking

• Respond to day-to-day security-related requests and application security issues
• Monitor, track, and escalate security incidents as needed

Vulnerability Management & Remediation Support

• Assist in performing vulnerability assessments
• Support remediation tracking efforts under the guidance of senior team members

Security Documentation

• Assist in documenting, testing, and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and runbooks
• Maintain security-related documentation for compliance and operational use

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams

• Work with IT operations, network teams, and other departments to implement security recommendations
• Learn how to evaluate cybersecurity risks and integrate security controls in business applications and processes

Technology Deployment Support

• Assist in the coordination and implementation of security projects and new technologies
• Provide support in testing and reviewing security configurations

Program Details:

• The program will be a full-time paid summer internship
• The program will be 12 weeks in length, and is planned to occur between Monday, May 19th and Friday, August 8th

Program Requirement(s):

• Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree throughout the entirety of the internship
• Must be able to attend the entirety of the internship

What You'll Bring:

Education and Experience

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Interest or experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or compliance
• Fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, compliance frameworks, and risk management
• Eagerness to learn technical skills and best practices in cybersecurity problem-solving
• Ability to embrace diverse perspectives and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to work independently and take on challenges with a proactive mindset
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

Hourly Range: $17-$38

The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
