Responsibilities
o Answer inbound calls and emails from customers, address inquiries, provide information on products and services, and assist with policy changes.
o Assist clients with managing their insurance accounts, including updating personal information, adding or removing coverage, and renewing policies.
o Provide guidance on available coverage options, helping clients make informed decisions that meet their needs.
o Resolve customer issues or complaints by researching the matter and offering appropriate solutions in a professional and efficient manner.
o Maintain accurate customer records within online filing systems and the agency CRM system, ensuring that all information is up to date.
o Collaborate with the sales team to identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities that may benefit customers.
o Stay current on insurance products, services, and industry regulations to provide accurate and reliable information.
o Support day-to-day office operations, including administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
o High school diploma or equivalent (AA degree or working toward a degree preferred, consistent work history preferred).
o Proven experience in customer service, preferably within the insurance industry.
o Knowledge of insurance terminology, policies, and processes.
o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
o Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
o Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
o Proficiency with office software including Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM.
o Active state insurance license(s) for Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health (or ability to obtain).
o Positive, professional, and courteous demeanor.
