As a Wiring Technician with Panatrol, you'll be at the core of wiring control panels that help keep our systems running smoothly. What You'll Do:
- Ensures quality levels for the design.
- Maintains a clean job site/work area: pick up all tools and equipment each day to eliminate potential hazards.
- Uses a variety of tools to assist in assembling panels for the installation of key components.
- Reads schematics to assemble and install devices onto control panels and run and terminate wires according to company standards.
- Cut, tag, and run wire according to shop schematics.
- Works with typical power and control circuits including 480VAC, 120VAC, and 24VDC.
- Wires industrial control panels per engineered schematics and layout drawings.
- Layout, measure, drill, and tap subpanels for initial assembly preparation.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance and motivated, positive attitude.
- Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed, brings problems to the attention of the Safety Department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Electrical degree from technical college or equivalent preferred. Or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous Control Panel Wiring experience (at least 5 years)
- Ability to read and understand layout drawings
- Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and wiring schematics
- Familiar with small handheld tools
