What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dentist position at Pancare of Florida Inc?
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts comprehensive dental examinations and evaluations.
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions
- Perform restorative and preventive procedures
- Tooth Extractions and Surgical procedures
- Patient education
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Stay current on dental practices
- Performs related work as required.
Education and Experience:
Education: Doctor of Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from an accredited dental school.
Licensure: valid licensure as a Dentist in the state of Florida in accordance with Florida Statute 446
Experience: Previous experience as a practicing dentist is preferred, but new graduates with the right skills and enthusiasm will be considered.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, techniques, and technologies.
- Proficiency in taking and interpreting X-rays and other diagnostic tests.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Compassionate and patient-centered care approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to educate patients on dental health and treatment options.
- Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest dental practices and advancements.
- Bilingual candidates are a plus, though not required.
- Must possess a commitment to continuing education to maintain licensure and stay current with industry standards.
- Demonstrated commitment to community health and improving access to dental care, especially for underserved populations.
PanCare provides a comprehensive benefits package to include medical, dental and vision insurance. In addition, to health coverage, we offer 14 paid holidays and 3 weeks of paid vacation per year. Our providers are also eligible to participate in our 403(b) plan with a 6% employer match and 3% annual employer contribution. We also offer a 457(b) deferred compensation plan for those that max out their 403(b) annually. This plan provides a 50% employer match up to $7,500 per year. This position also qualifies for student loan forgiveness through HRSA.
