Job Summary
The Registered Nurse - Student Health will provide nursing services in assigned schools throughout Bay District Schools, including assessments as needed for school health.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, documenting and managing student care plans within the nursing scope of practice.
Apart from performing student record reviews in assigned schools to determine compliance with Florida Statutes and Bay District School requirements, the Registered Nurse will also need to appropriately document all services provided in the Medical Records System used by PanCare of Florida and Bay District Schools.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding internal and external customer service skills, be able to interpret and follow nursing instructions, communicate effectively and courteously, in a culturally sensitive manner, and maintain effective working relationships with others.
