We are looking to add a dynamic team member to our alternative/ holistic Chiropractic and Acupuncture office. Exciting opportunity to be a part of a Wellness-based setting.
Ideal candidate should be Dependable, detail oriented, quick learner, friendly, professional, efficient, be strong in multi-tasking, have excellent organizational, time-management, and phone skills. Must also have outstanding customer service when working with all types of people.
Working days would vary on Mon , Tues, Wed, or Fridays , and be either an a 4/5 hour Morning shift OR an afternoon shift (8:45 - 12:45, OR 1:45-6:00).
Approx. 15-25 hours per week.
We are out of the office on Thursdays.
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Answer phone and schedule new patient and established patient appointments
- Greet and check-in / check-out all incoming/outgoing patients with a professional, friendly manner
- Collect all patient payments and co-payments and post into office software. General understanding of working with insurance is helpful.
- Ability to be on feet for periods of time and walk around office.
- Assist with patient care in therapy suite.
- Direct the patient flow / patient care in the office.
- Prepare New Patient paperwork and chart paperwork, including insurance information, maintain patient charts
- Communicate professionally with patients, coworkers and other team members
- Scan records into office EHR
- Help maintain office cleanliness, sanitize areas after patient care
- Prepare / stock Acupuncture rooms , chiropractic treatment rooms
- Stock/ supply Therapy suite
- Prepare reports, charts/files for days' patient visits
- Order supplies, accept deliveries
- Professional attitude and appearance
Experience in a medical office and customer service environment is preferred.
Compensation / Pay based upon experience.
