Pool Technician

PANDA POOLS, LLC is a local family owned and operated Pool Cleaning Company since 2008. We provide Peace of Mind, Preventative Maintenance & Cleaning, and Opening/Closing services in select areas of Norfolk, Chesapeake and Virginia Beach.

We are now hiring for SEASONAL Positions for our opening season - Starting date 4/1/2025!!

Positions

• Chemical/Hydraulic Lead Technician (Previous experience a MUST for lead technician!)
• Technician Assistant (No experience required for Assistants! Will train the right candidate!)

Summary

We need DEDICATED team members, and as a Lead Pool Technician or Technician Assistant, you will be an essential part of maintaining and cleaning pools to ensure they remain a safe and enjoyable swimming environment for our clients! Could this be YOU???

Our ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:

• Excellent problem solving skills!
• Able to work successfully without close supervision!
• Able to stay organized & accurate!
• Be a real go getter & team player!
• MUST have reliable transportation to & from the shop in Norfolk!
• MUST be available to work from 8am to at least 6pm Monday - Friday (though the day is not over until all services are completed) - Some Saturdays may be required, but are very rare!
• MUST be OK with working long hours outdoors & in the elements!
• MUST be able to comfortably lift 50lbs!
• MUST have an appreciation for safety!

Responsibilities

• Perform routine pool maintenance, including cleaning and chemical balancing to ensure water quality.
• Utilize hand and power tools for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
• Assist in identifying mechanical issues and provide solutions under supervision.
• Follow safety protocols while handling pool chemicals and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to deliver excellent service.

Depending upon experience, compensation will be $12 - $18 per hour (PLUS mileage for a leading technician with their own truck!) as well as weekends off & paid federal holidays!
