Entry to Mid-Level Experience Environmental Scientist or Geologist
PANDEY Environmental, LLC, an innovative, award winning, industry leader in Brownfield Redevelopment and Ohio EPA VAP, is seeking intelligent, motivated environmental scientists for our Dublin, Ohio office. Qualifications and Skills
Successful candidates of all levels must have a Bachelor or Associate Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Chemistry, or an engineering related field. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required, as well as the ability to think critically, and be solution providers to team members and our clients. The successful candidate will be organized, and have a keen attention to detail. The ability to implement planned activities, communicate site conditions, and oversee on- site subcontractors is required. A valid Drivers License, and an acceptable driving record required.
In addition to the above, more experienced candidates will have a working knowledge of Phase I, Phase II and risk assessments, and technical writing proficiency. Working knowledge of ArcMap & MS Access software programs, applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations and guidelines is also required. Ohio VAP experience a plus, and 40-Hour HAZWOPER trained preferred.
Work Life
Depending on your level of experience, primary responsibilities could include environmental soils oversight on Brownfield Development Projects, field sample collection activities (soil, groundwater, soil gas, etc.) As a team member, you may be tasked with completion of Ohio EPA VAP and ASTM Phase I/II Site Assessments, and provide assistance with risk assessment activities. Regardless of level of experience, successful candidates are required to ensure activities are performed in conformance with work plans, budgets and clearly outlined applicable laws and regulations.
