Role Summary
The SAP S/4HANA RISE PCE Segmentation Expert will lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Segmentation functionality in a fast-paced, live environment. Working closely with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Finance, IT), this consultant will drive best practices for inventory segmentation, allocation, and prioritization, ensuring the new processes align with evolving business requirements in retail and fashion.

Key Responsibilities
- Segmentation Blueprint & Design
- Analyze existing channel and inventory processes, including e-commerce, retail, wholesale, and any emerging segments.
- Collaborate with business users to define segmentation use cases, data flows, and weekly or ad-hoc reallocation scenarios.
- Establish guidelines for managing and updating segment assignments in alignment with real-time or near real-time inventory insights.
- Configuration & Deployment
- Configure SAP S/4HANA RISE PCE Segmentation functionalities, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Integrate segmentation with relevant SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP) and external tools (e.g., Toolio or equivalent planning systems).
- Set up prioritization rules for sales orders, stock transport orders, or store orders within a single segment.
- Inventory Management & Data Integration
- Define integration touchpoints with third-party systems (e.g., ChannelApe, 3PLs) that may be retained or sunset.
- Facilitate data feeds to planning tools on a scheduled basis (daily, midday refresh, etc.), preserving data accuracy and synchronization.
- Change Management & Reallocation
- Establish processes for reallocation of inventory among segments (e.g., moving inventory from wholesale to retail) based on changing market demands.
- Develop and validate standard use cases that trigger reallocation decisions or buffer segment scenarios.
- Documentation & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with planning, purchasing, and receiving processes.
- Document Segmentation best practices, user guides, and decision frameworks.
- Prepare and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for end users and internal teams.
