Pando Little School is seeking an early childhood professional with administrative experience to join our Reggio Emilia inspired preschool. As Pando’s Office/Program Manager, you’ll work with the Director, a small teaching team, and active parent community to provide
Pay is salaried, with an hourly equivalent between $20/hr and $25/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher in a field applicable to organizational management, bookkeeping, or early childhood administration.
- Knowledge of NM PreK Grant requirements and ECECD regulations, or willingness to learn.
- 3 or more years of administrative, book keeping, management, or accounting experience.
- Prior experience working on a collaborative team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, in person and in writing.
- Creative problem solver.
- Open to new experiences and perspectives.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director and Assistant Director to oversee annual and long-range financial operations, including budgeting and tuition/payroll decisions.
- Monitor, itemize, and justify all program spending and income.
- Track monthly profits and loss statements, annual fiscal plans, and bank account balances, and conduct a monthly financial-budgetary meeting with the Director and Assistant Director to provide updates on the school’s financial health.
- Execute all monthly expenditure, invoicing, and annual reporting to NM PreK.
- Document employee hours.
- Process time off requests.
- Run payroll.
- Process tuition payments, late fees, and extensions.
- Approve and monitor child care assistance contracts.
- Prepare tax documents and make tax payments.
- Complete insurance audits and payments.
- Process purchasing requests within budget.
- Ensure compliance with all NM PreK financial and reporting requirements.
- Attend all required NM PreK meetings.
- Oversee Pando’s phone, answering all calls during business hours.
