About the Team :

The Manager, Sales Operations and Workload Planning, is responsible for overseeing balanced workload execution across Pandora's North American retail stores and ensuring cross-functional teams stay on track with their tasks. This role ensures that all tasks are entered into the store task list well in advance with the necessary details for flawless execution. Additionally, the Manager leads the Retail Systems function, overseeing systems testing, maintenance, and rollout strategies while partnering with IT teams to develop a cohesive North American IT strategy.

Your Role as a the Manager of Sales Operations & Planning :

Workload Balance & Task Oversight :

  • Ensure workload is balanced across stores, minimizing strain during peak sales periods while maximizing efficiency.
  • Monitor cross-functional teams to ensure tasks are submitted into the store task list well in advance, with all required information for successful execution.
  • Conduct quarterly workload reviews with field leaders to align on upcoming challenges and refine workload plans.

Retail Systems Oversight :

  • Oversee the Retail Systems Specialist, ensuring systems are tested, maintained, and optimized for store operations.
  • Partner with Global and NAM IT teams to develop and implement a North American IT strategy for stores.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Strategy to align retail system initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Support the development of functional specifications for system rollouts and upgrades.
  • Team Leadership & Development :

  • Lead a team of five direct reports, including specialists in workload planning, retail systems, and sales operations.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure alignment between team activities and organizational priorities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration :

  • Act as a liaison between field leaders and home office departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment on workload execution.
  • Coordinate with Store Operations, HR, and Marketing teams to prioritize workload inputs and resolve conflicts.
  • Facilitate collaboration between IT and store operations teams to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
  • Process Improvement :

  • Identify opportunities to improve workload planning processes and integrate best practices.
  • Oversee the creation of tools, templates, and resources to enhance workload management and task execution.
  • Leverage hindsight and execution reviews to refine processes and drive operational improvements.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting :

  • Establish and track KPIs related to workload execution, system performance, and team productivity.
  • Monitor task execution effectiveness, providing feedback and recommendations to improve future planning cycles.
  • Lead monthly hindsight reviews to evaluate successes and identify areas for improvement, incorporating findings into quarterly reviews.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in retail operations, workload planning, or IT systems management.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of store operations, task management, and retail systems.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in workforce management tools and retail systems (e.g., testing, troubleshooting, and rollout).
  • Analytical skills to evaluate workload and system performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

    The Pandora North America team in the USA & Canada consists of more than 115 employees working at our offices in New York & Baltimore, more than 80 in our Logistics Center in Columbia, Maryland, an additional 100 in field positions, and more than 3,900 in our owned and operated stores.

    Today, the USA is Pandora's single largest market. The Pandora North American region as a whole encompasses over 1,400 points of sale, including over 420 concept stores, with more than 300 being owned and operated by Pandora.
