What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory/Receiving Associate position at Panel Specialists Inc?
SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and experience Warehouse/Inventory Control Associate to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory control, receiving, forklift operation, computer skills and packaging.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Receive/offload supplies as needed
· Inspect all incoming supplies; ensures that discrepancies, damage, or potential damage is properly documented and reported
· Stack, move, count consolidate, segregated, space, and transport material without damaging
· Process receivers, vendors managed inventory, and return material (RMA) as directed
· Coordinate with Procurement and Accounting for credit/replacement on all missing, defective, or damage material
· Perform location survey and cycle counts as required
· Reconcile/identify discrepancies between physical counts and book inventory balances.
· Review incoming supply reports daily/weekly
· Review and print work order and sales order as required
· Pack materials for shipment as required
· Allocate material to work order and sales order are needed
· Maintain/update locations, placards, manage storage capacity, consolidation, and the transfer of material between facilities. Setup and maintain storage racks
· Intermediate use and understanding of Microsoft Excel
· Assists in supporting the production line and expediting of specialty parts required for units.
· Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
· Other duties as assigned.
