Our Bakery is the heart of our cafes and baking fresh every day is essential to Paneras success. Our bakers use the best ingredients and their expertise to create the quality bread and baked goods that our customers love, on a daily basis.
This is a 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) position with a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
As a Baker, your job is to:
- Bake all of the fresh bread and pastries that your cafe needs each day
- Maintain our high standards of flavor and quality
- Perform stocking, food prep, cleaning and sanitation tasks as needed
- Help build a culture of Warmth, Belonging, Growth and Trust
- Step in and support your manager and team as needed
This job is for you if:
- You love baking even if youre a beginner (we provide training)
- You enjoy both working alone and with a team
- Youre a self-starter who can meet goals with limited supervision
- You like the hustle and bustle of the hospitality industry
- Youre committed to food safety
- You have your own transportation to drive to other locations as needed
- Youre at least 18 years of age
- You must be able to lift up to 30 lbs., and be able to bend, reach, push, pull, and stand for long periods of time
