Job Description:
- Verify accuracy, account coding, and compliance with company policy on all invoices and requests for payment.
- Monitor expenses and store reports for policy compliance and processes for payment.
- Prepare invoice deduction notices, as necessary.
- Respond to vendor and internal AP inquiries.
- Key invoices.
- Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers.
- Print accounts payable reports and maintain accounts payable files.
- Answer and route incoming accounting calls to appropriate party.
- Assist with contract agreement and other administrative duties.
- Assists with special projects, as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Accounting experience required.
- Excel skills required.
- Strong work ethic.
- Detail oriented.
