Our client is in search of an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to add to their team. The best candidate will have at least 3 years of accounts payable experience as well as experience managing a team. Job Description:
- Manage accounts payable staff to ensure department is maintaining timely and efficient workflow.
- Manage and assist with the processing of invoices for projects.
- Ensure coding and posting of invoices are in compliance with company policy and procedures.
- Supervise weekly check runs or ACH payments.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee expense reports.
- Manage W-9 collection process.
- Manage 1099 process and related activities.
- Research vendor issues.
- Proactively identify ways to streamline processes to create efficiencies.
- Ensure Sales & Use tax returns are filed accurately and timely.
- Assist with special projects as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- 3 years of accounts payable experience.
- 3 years of supervisory experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
