IT Business Analyst - Supply Chain Solutions

About the Role:
As an IT Business Analyst, you'll be a vital link between our client’s dynamic supply chain operations and our cutting-edge information systems. You'll translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring our warehouse management systems (WMS) run smoothly and efficiently. Your work will directly impact our ability to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and deliver exceptional service.
What You'll Do:
- Drive WMS Optimization: Leverage your expertise in Manhattan WMS, ideally including Active WMS and SCI, to configure, customize, and enhance our systems.
- Solve Complex Problems: Independently diagnose and resolve application issues, manage trouble tickets, and implement lasting solutions.
- Collaborate on Projects: Partner with stakeholders and project managers to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables for smaller initiatives.
- Translate Business Needs: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, transforming them into clear functional specifications for technical teams.
- Ensure Quality & Performance: Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, ensuring our WMS solutions meet business needs and maintain high performance.
- Empower Users: Create user-friendly documentation and training materials, enabling users to effectively utilize new functionalities and processes.
- Champion Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize processes and enhance applications, recommending strategic improvements based on your deep understanding of supply chain operations.
- Communicate Effectively: Present your work clearly and concisely to peers and management, fostering collaboration and alignment.
- Maintain System Integrity: Keep accurate records of system configurations and known issues, ensuring system stability and reliability.
- Travel as Needed: Travel up to 20-30% to support projects and initiatives.
What You Bring:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of relevant IT business analysis experience in a supply chain environment or equivalent combination.
- Supply Chain Expertise: Strong understanding of supply chain concepts and warehouse management principles, with specific knowledge of Manhattan WMS.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience configuring and customizing WMS solutions, ideally including Manhattan Active WMS and/or SCI.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
