About the Role:
- Perform general accounting functions, including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and budgeting
- Prepare monthly close of books and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
- Maintain sales tax compliance and support revenue recognition processes
- Manage and oversee general ledger activity
- Monitor reserve accounts and short-term fund investments
- Research and reconcile discrepancies in financial records
- Conduct auditing and document verification
- Provide financial and profitability analysis as needed
- Assist management in meeting project milestones
- Research accounting rules and regulations and make recommendations for company policies
- Maintain financial reporting systems in compliance with GAAP and statutory accounting standards
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of accounting experience preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with team members
