Education/Certifications
- Degree Preferred (2 or 4 yr)
- Certifications: Bonus
Work Experience:
- Experience troubleshooting Desktop and Laptop PC’s
- Experience with basic network troubleshooting
- Experience in a call center environment/guiding end users through troubleshooting over the phone
- Ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking team environment
- Customer service oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responding to alarm/trouble conditions within the Network Operations Center
- Monitoring, triaging, documenting, assigning and follow up of server and network issues and outages
- Troubleshooting the customer’s network and escalating to appropriate team members
- Performing incident trending and root cause post mortem analysis
- Maintaining appropriate records and documentation on service work performed and ensuring timely escalation
- Following up on tickets at pre-defined intervals until resolved
This position requires a US Citizenship or Green Card as the client is not able to provide sponsorship.
